Full Week Ahead

I’m looking at a nice change-of-pace this next week. I’ll be heading down on Monday for the Resurgence Conference at Mars Hill. The title for this year is “Text and Context” and it features John Piper, Mark Driscoll, Matt Chandler, and Jim Gilmore as speakers. I’ve heard that C. J. Mahaney may be lurking about as well, but we’ll just have to see. I’m especially looking forward to Piper if only because there is nothing like Piper live that you just don’t get from the books or even recorded material. Concurrent with that I’ll be participating in the A29 Boot Camp, helping to assess future church planters – maybe even some for your town. Especially for the latter I would appreciate your prayers.

If I can, I may blog some thoughts from the conference, but we’ll see. If you take this link, you’ll have plenty of stuff to read and watch concerning the conference.
